Wooden Canoe
Way back I helped carve a Haida style ceremonial canoe. This is a model of the full sized craft. It is carved out of a Red Cedar bolt found back in the Oregon Coast forest, steam bent in traditional manner, and the 3 paddles and steering oar are made from Alaskan Yellow Cedar. It's carved very thin, and thus is light in weight. It's been in my studio for a few decades so has a few small dings, but is still pretty pristine. I will package it in a custom wooden crate.
48-1/2"L x 12-1/4"H x 11-1/2L.
