SunTree
SunTree has a carved Anjou Pear handle with an old skeleton key through it. When not in use the handle hangs on a hook mounted on the side of the piece. The “cloud door” that covers either half of the display space, pivots when the Pear handle is rotated. A lead filled counterweight keeps the drive chain taut. The Pear branch tree has carved planets, leaves, and a sun for foliage. This was one of those tricky designs that I was not sure would work out until I actually had it assembled.
