BlackBird Wall Cabinet
An earlier piece I made, BlackBird Wall Cabinet is made from Eastern Cherry, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, Eastern Maple, and uses brass knife hinges for the door to swing open. The main body is blackened with Aniline Dye, then incised with the crosshatch pattern. The Black Bird is finished in Milk Paint. 15"H x 15"W x 6"D.
